Personal / Fashion Creative Assistant

We are looking for an innovative and dynamic Fashion Design Assistant to join our team and provide support to the CEO. This essential role supports our lead designer in the creation of stylish, groundbreaking clothing that aligns with our brand’s vision. As a Fashion Design Assistant, you will engage in all aspects of the design process, from initial concept to final delivery, contributing to collections that captivate our target audience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct assistance to the CEO and personal tasks.
• Conceptualize and sketch design ideas for new collections.
• Conduct market research to identify appealing trends, styles, and fabrics.
• Create mood boards and provide creative input for new launches.
• Develop detailed technical sketches and CADs using design software or traditional methods.
• Prepare mood boards, color palettes, and design presentations for review.
• Assist in the development of sample garments, including pattern making.
• Participate in fittings, ensuring that garments adhere to design specifications and fit standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to communicate design details and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to the development and execution of creative projects, such as photo shoots, look books, and marketing campaigns.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or currently pursuing one.
• Prior work experience in the role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong design and conceptual abilities.
• Exceptional sense of style and color.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and highly versatile
• Comprehensive knowledge of fashion design, industrial product design, and product development.
• Passion for fashion, with a keen awareness of current and emerging trends, particularly in women’s apparel.
• High creativity and enthusiasm for learning and growing in a dynamic environment.
